I've only ordered delivery and each time it has been hot fresh and consistently good. The Birria tacos are top notch, reminds of west coast authentic tacos. The beans and rice are a nice complement
We ordered food for the family to go from their website from El Monte Fresh Mexican food. The mainly serve your typical Americanized style Mexican food that we all know, but do have a few authentic items like Menudo. I ordered Birria tacos. They were very good. These are the tacos with barbacoa style pulled meat where you dip them in a cup for red sauce. I'd definitely get them again. Others ordered things like the fajita burrito. It was large and doused I in queso.
Updating my review from 5 to 4 stars. Unfortunately they got my order wrong today. I very clearly said hard shell over the phone, and repeated myself, but there was a lot of noise in the kitchen so maybe she heard me wrong. I'm allergic to gluten and they gave me soft shell tacos instead so unfortunately I can't eat them. Oh well. Their food is still good. I'll just have to be more careful and check the food before I leave the restaurant
